Can’t comment, edit settings, etc.?

Between about 1am and 3am Pacific time this site becomes read-only while my ISP performs database maintenance. I'm hoping this issue can be resolved in the future, but they're giving me free hosting so I'm not going to push it! Meanwhile, I apologize for the inconvenience.
